SAME Carolina Midlands Post members serve Fort Jackson, the largest and most active Initial Entry Training Center in the United States Army. All six of the installation’s Basic Combat Training starship complexes are part of an eight-year renovation project that started in 2008 and is scheduled to be completed in 2016.

The Carolina Midlands Post removed old shingles and installed new on February 3 for a wounded warrior in Sumter, South Carolina. Our team included volunteers from Shaw AFB 20th Civil Engineering Squadron, Sumter County Sheriff's office, Fort Roofing and Sheet Metal Works, ARM Environmental Services, Inc, Duro-Last Roofing, the Carolina Midlands and Charleston Posts.
